Iron Maiden’s Bruce Dickinson faces £90m divorce after finding new love with super-fan
The 61-year-old heavy metal legend quietly separated from Paddy, his wife of 29 years and the mother of his three children, a year
Iron Maiden frontman Bruce Dickinson could face a £90million divorce after splitting from his wife and finding love with a super-fan.
The 61-year-old heavy metal legend quietly separated from Paddy, his wife of 29 years and the mother of his three children, a year ago.
He then moved in with fitness instructor Leana Dolci in her Paris home. She is believed to be 15 years his junior.
Our source said: “Leana has always been a huge Iron Maiden fan, following them around for nearly 10 years.
“She and Bruce have got really close over the past year and she has even met his children. Paddy is in South America having some space from it all.”
On her Instagram page, Leana calls herself a “flower child with a rock and roll heart” and says “I love the days that begins with you next to me. In bed. Naked”.
She regularly interviews rock stars on web channel Duke TV.
In a recent interview, Bruce confirmed he lived in Paris “with my girlfriend”.
In 2015, Bruce’s singing career almost ended as he battled stage 3 throat cancer after being told he had two tumours – with one the size of a golf ball – on his tongue.
Paddy nursed him back to health in their home in Chiswick, West London, while he had nine weeks of chemotherapy and 33 sessions of radiation.
He was also supported by their children Austin, 29, Griffin, 27, and daughter Kia, 28 – and after six months Bruce got the all-clear.
Bruce told Rolling Stone magazine how surviving cancer changed his outlook on life – saying: “Living is living now, every minute, every second, for right now.
In 2018 his marriage to Paddy started to fall apart.
The couple have no immediate plans for divorce – but if legal proceedings begin Bruce will have to carve up his estimated £90million fortune.
Money-spinning Iron Maiden have produced four number one albums – which have sold more than 100million copies.
The band’s hits include Run To The Hills, Can I Play With Madness and Bring Your Daughter To The Slaughter.
The rocker and businessman has boosted his bank balance over the years with a string of lucrative projects, including a career as a pilot with stints flying airliners for BA, Easyjet and BMI.
