Slash returns to performing after death of stepdaughter Lucy-Bleu Knight.

The Guns N’ Roses guitarist, 59, performed at his S.E.R.P.E.N.T. blues festival on Pier 17 in New York on Sunday.

Knight died on July 19 at the age of 25 at a private residence in LA under circumstances that remain undisclosed, records obtained by The Post revealed.

Although an autopsy has been completed, the cause of death has been deferred pending additional testing. An investigator has been assigned to the case.

Slash announced Knight’s death in an Instagram statement on July 21, writing, “Lucy-Bleu Knight (December 6, 1998), beloved daughter of Meegan Hodges and Mark Knight, stepdaughter of Samantha Somers Knight and Slash, sister of Scarlet Knight, stepsister of London and Cash Hudson, passed away peacefully in Los Angeles, CA on July 19, 2024.

“Lucy-Bleu was an incredibly talented artist, a passionate dreamer, and a charming, lovable, sweet soul,” the statement continued. “The family asks for privacy at this time and requests that social media speculation be kept to a minimum as they grieve and process this devastating loss.”

Three hours after Slash posted the announcement, a selfie of Knight alongside a caption was shared to her own Instagram account.

It read: “Whether I made you feel excluded, manipulated/ controlled you, told you to quit your day job from the comfort of being financially supported by my parents, or drowned real issues in toxic positivity-I am sorry.

Countless missed opportunities and connections due to a disgustingly big ego, insecure heart and fear of being vulnerable,” Knight’s statement continued. “May my soul learn to evolve from my poor job at being Lucy-Bleu. Peace.”

Followers speculated that she had scheduled the post before her passing.

A week after her death on July 27, Slash shared a heart-wrenching tribute in honor of his stepdaughter on Instagram.

“My heart is permanently fractured,” the caption read. “I will never ever stop missing you & remembering what a beacon of happiness, laughter, creativity & beauty you have always been … & still are.”

He added: “The brightest light in the lives of so many that loved you so much. I find solace in the hope that you are at peace now. I will love you eternally.”

Slash first dated Knight’s mother Meegan Hodges in 1989 before rekindling their relationship in 2015. He shares two sons, London, 21, and Cash, 20, with his ex-wife Perla Ferrar. The couple was married from 2001 to 2018

On July 21, Slash canceled four tour dates of his solo S.E.R.P.E.N.T Tour due to “unforeseen circumstances” hours before the announcement of Knight’s death.

“Due to unforeseen circumstances, the S.E.R.P.E.N.T tour regrettably has to cancel the below performances. Refunds will be available at points of purchase,” the Instagram announcement read.

Slash is next set to take the stage Monday in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania at Musikfest.

Known for his role in forming legendary rock band Guns N’ Roses in 1985, Slash left the group in 1996, but returned 20 years later.

He has also found success as a solo artist, with two notable solo studio albums including 2010’s “Slash” and 2024’s “Orgy of the Damned.”
