Leeds United have signed Belgian striker Largie Ramazani from Almeria.
Leeds United have finalized the acquisition of Belgian forward Largie Ramazani from Spanish club Almeria for an undisclosed fee, pending a work permit.
According to The Athletic, the Championship side reached an agreement for Ramazani, who previously spent three years with Manchester United as a youth player.
The 23-year-old has signed a four-year deal with Leeds and will wear the number 17 shirt. Ramazani is the club’s fifth addition of the summer.
Archie Gray, Georginio Rutter, and Crysencio Summerville were among the most notable departures from Daniel Farke’s team, which reached the Championship play-off final last season.
Largie Ramazani started his career at Anderlecht in Belgium before moving to Charlton Athletic at the age of 12. After four years with the south London club, he joined Manchester United as a youth player.
Last season, Ramazani made 29 appearances for Almeria in La Liga. However, he missed five of the club’s last six matches due to a five-game suspension following a red card against Villarreal.
Leeds kicked off their new Championship season with a 3-3 draw against newly-promoted Portsmouth and a goalless draw against West Bromwich Albion the following weekend.
