“He’s Not Even Jamaican”: Noah Lyles’ Girlfriend Gushes Over Track and Field Sensation’s Fame Away From the US.

To be honest, at the end of the day it’s just rivalry, and I expect the rivalry to be hot, you know?”: That came from Noah Lyles in the podcast, Track World News. He was counting on his rivalry with the Jamaican sprinters, and, frankly, he has no splendid memories of it. This year, his only 100m loss came at the hands of a Jamaican sprinter, and additionally, he had to watch another Jamaican take away the world-leading time in the same event. So he has his own reasons to think of them as rivals, but does he know the Jamaicans’ love for him? Noah Lyles’ Jamaican girlfriend has shed light on this.

The couple sat down with Andrew Greif from GQ to converse on several topics, and in the meantime, the US-Jamaican rivalry popped up. However, his girlfriend, Junelle Bromfield, had proof to support the fact that Jamaicans love Noah Lyles despite being the tallest body in the rival camp. The country allows him extra facilities whenever he moves to the island nation. And all these come with the truth that “he’s not even Jamaican,” as added by Junelle Bromfield.

The Stade de France is waiting to be the amphitheater for the US-Jamaican rivalry on track. However, even before the games began, social media was already buzzing with anticipation of the head-to-head clash. The situation arose when Noah Lyles disclosed that he was privy to the inner workings of the Jamaican dressing room because of his relationship with Junelle Bromfield. Words like those from the flag-bearer of the arch-rival could never be embraced by fans who boast of having the upper hand in the much-touted track rivalry. So, Junelle Bromfield had to face the heat from the Jamaican fans, blamed as a ‘backstabber’, supplying news to her love interest. In reply, the 26-year-old has been showing the haters what Jamaican women sprinters show on the track—an all-out attack.

After posting her “living my best life” message on July 16, Bromfield shared a biblical verse today. On her Instagram story, Junelle used ISA 54:17 to narrate her war cry that says, “No weapon formed against me shall prosper, and every tongue that rises up against me You shall condemn.”

Subsequently, she delivered the meaning of the verse, and that shows Noah Lyles’ girlfriend is only caring for the almighty when her countrymen have gone against her, forgetting her contribution to the Jamaican sport.
